Do I need to know my dog's exact time of birth?

No. In fact, we expect many people won't.

If you know it, you can provide it and we can use the additional astrological information it gives us. If you don't, we'll create the reading using the parts of the chart that don't depend on an exact birth time.

What if I only know an approximate birthday?

This depends on how approximate it is. A difference of several days can change some planetary placements, so we don't want to present uncertain information as your dog's actual chart.

If you know the date given by the breeder, rescue centre or previous owner, you can use that. If your dog's birthday is entirely estimated, we don't recommend ordering a Pawstrology reading.

Is this just based on my dog's star sign?

No.

Your dog's Sun sign is only one part of the chart. Pawstrology considers multiple planetary placements and the relationships between them to produce a much more individual reading.

Two dogs born under the same Sun sign can therefore have quite different readings.

Is Pawstrology scientifically proven?

No. Astrology isn't scientifically established as a method for determining personality or predicting behaviour, and we don't present it as one.

Pawstrology is an astrological interpretation created for enjoyment, curiosity and a different way of looking at the personality of a dog you know and love.

Is the reading generated by AI?

AI assists our process, but Pawstrology isn't a one-click AI horoscope generator.

We work from your dog's calculated astrological information and a defined framework for interpreting astrology created by us  in the context of canine personality and behaviour. We develop the individual reading, use AI to draft the report and the finished reading is human-reviewed before being delivered.

Can Pawstrology tell me why my dog has behavioural problems?

Pawstrology can explore temperament and behavioural tendencies through an astrological lens, but it isn't veterinary or behavioural advice.

If your dog is showing signs of distress, aggression, illness or a significant behavioural change, please speak to a qualified veterinarian or canine behaviour professional.

Can I order a reading as a gift?

Absolutely. And unlike most presents for dog people, there's a reasonable chance they don't already own one. You will receive your reading via email on a PDF file. You can print or simply forward it to the person you are gifting it to.

You can order a Pawstrology reading for someone else's dog as long as you have the birth information required for the reading.
